First - Ever Yard Sale!
Full Circle Susquehanna is having a yard sale/fundraiser on Saturday, April 21. Over the years, lots of books have been donated to our lending library, and some of them don't quite fit our genres, so we're selling them. Some items for the sale are kitchen items, microwave, water fountain and potted plants. Some of the varieties are yarrow, sundrop, Siberian iris, varigated iris, hardy geranium, may apple, ground cover plants and dutchmen's breeches or "britches". Other plants are native to the area will be columbine, ferns, trillium, and medicinal herbs. Window boxliners will be for sale for those that want plants ready to go into the window boxes. Liriope and ajuga are some of the flowers in the boxes. We are pricing the plants to sell.
And mark your calendar so you don't miss the yard sale @ 843 Janet Avenue, Lancaster, PA.

Sense of Wonder Camp June 18-22, 2012
In the Summer of 1995, we offered our first Sense of Wonder Camp for girls. The writings of Rachel Carson express the philosophy that guides our camp. “If I had influence over the good fairy who is supposed to preside over the christening of all children I should ask that her gift to each child in the world be a sense of wonder so indestructible that it would last throughout life.” These words of Rachel Carson express the philosophy that guides our camp. We want girls to know the beauty and mystery of nature and to see and learn about female role models who hold a deep regard for the Earth and the amazing life on Her.
Held in the Lancaster County Park, the camp is sponsored by Full Circle Susquehanna, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) women's organization dedicated to the empowerment of girls and women. The camp is staffed by Full Circle Susquehanna board members, guest presenters and Sense of Wonder alumni.
Camp is held every year the week that includes Summer Solstice. For a Sense of Wonder Camp brochure, please email fullcirclesusq@yahoo.com
